The nozzle edge detection is capable of detecting a nozzle edge by moving the objective to a position where a curve can be observed and analyzing the image near the nozzle edge (in Z axis direction) (The image processing AF function)
The image processing autofocus function offers non-destructive measurement of a nozzle edge by detecting a ring which was generated by the scattering light of the transmissive illumination.
